Refund and Cancellation Policy
ContentPeter, operated by Peter Balog e.v., 5600 Békéscsaba, Szőlő u. 93/3., Hungary
Effective date: 8 August 2026
Who processes your payment
All ContentPeter subscriptions are sold and processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our Merchant of Record and authorised reseller. Paddle handles payment, invoicing and tax. Charges appear on your statement as PADDLE.NET or similar. Refunds are issued by Paddle, to the original payment method.
Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms at https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.
Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time, from Settings then Billing inside the app, or via the link in any Paddle receipt email.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period.
- You keep full access until that date.
- You are not charged again.
- We do not automatically refund the unused remainder of a period. If you cancel on day 3 of a monthly period, you keep access for the remaining 27 days rather than receiving a partial refund.
- Please export your data before your access ends. We retain it for 30 days after termination and can restore it on request during that window.
Refunds
14-day first-purchase refund
If you are a new customer and it is not working for you, request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment. We approve these without argument. This applies once, to the first payment on an account.
Annual plans
Annual subscriptions are also covered by the 14-day window above. After 14 days, annual plans are non-refundable for the remainder of the term, but you can cancel to prevent renewal at any time.
Changing plan
Adding seats mid-cycle charges only the prorated difference for the remainder of the period, calculated automatically by Paddle. You will see the exact amount before you confirm.
Removing seats takes effect at your next renewal, not immediately. You keep the seats you have already paid for until the end of the period. Because of that, seat reductions do not generate a cash refund.
Service failure
If the Platform is materially unavailable or broken for an extended period through our fault, and we cannot fix it in a reasonable time, contact us. We will issue a credit or refund proportionate to the disruption.
Duplicate or accidental charges
Refunded in full. Contact us or Paddle and we will sort it.
What is not refundable
- Periods already used, beyond the 14-day window.
- Accounts terminated by us for breach of the Terms of Service at https://contentpeter.com/terms, including the acceptable use section.
- Dissatisfaction with AI-generated output that you reviewed, approved and published. Output requires your review before publication, which is what the editorial workspace is for.
- Loss of access to a third-party channel you connected (LinkedIn, X, your content management system) caused by that provider.
How to request a refund
Either route works.
- Contact us. Email [email protected] with the email address on the account and the invoice or receipt number. We reply within 2 business days and instruct Paddle where approved.
- Contact Paddle. Go to https://paddle.net, enter your email or the order number from your receipt, and submit a request directly.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Your bank typically posts it within 5 to 10 business days. The exact timing is set by your bank, not by us.
Chargebacks
If something is wrong, please contact us first. We will almost certainly just fix it. Raising a chargeback before contacting us costs us fees and results in immediate account suspension while the dispute is investigated.
